| Audiologists Alan M. Richards, Ph.D. Board Certified & Fellow, American Academy of Audiology Dr. Alan M. Richards holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Hearing Science and Audiology. He is licensed to practice audiology by the New York State Education Department. He holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and is also Board Certified in Audiology from AAA. Dr. Richards has had extensive teaching and research experience as both a Professor of Audiology at City University of New York and as a researcher in the Hearing Sciences. He has published two text books in hearing and research methods as well as other articles in the same area. Dr. Richards' special interests lie in electrophysiological diagnostics related to hearing and balance disorders. Shepsman, M.A. Fellow, American Academy of Audiology Debra A. Shepsman is licensed to practice audiology in New York by the New York State Education Department. She is a member and Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology. Her area of expertise is in the area of diagnostic audiology with particular emphasis in the area of balance assessment using video- and electronystagmography.
